Heat Shrink

Heat Shrink is a mechanically expanded extruded plastic tube ordinarily made of nylon or polyolefin, which shrinks in one dimension only (its diameter) when heated. Heat shrink is used to insulate wires, providing abrasion resistance and environmental protection for stranded and solid wire conductors, connections, joints and terminals in electrical engineering. It can also be used to repair the insulation on wires or to bundle them together, to protect wires or small parts from minor abrasion, and to create cable entry seals, offering environmental sealing protection.

Radar Inc offers a wide range of heat shrinkable tubing in thin wall, medium wall, and thick wall tubing. We can supply tubing in a variety of different specialty materials such as cross-linked polyolefin and chlorinated polyolefin, irradiated PVC, polyethylene, cross-linked silicon rubber, and polyvinylidene fluoride. We also offer heat shrinkable cable breakout boots and heat shrinkable end caps. Radar Inc is an authorized distributor for the following manufacturers.
