Terminals, Lugs, and Grounding Connectors

A terminal is the point at which a conductor from an electrical component, device or network comes to an end and provides a point of connection to external circuits. A terminal may simply be the end of a wire or it may be fitted with a connector or fastener. The connection may be temporary, as seen in portable equipment, may require a tool for assembly and removal, or may be a permanent electrical joint between two wires or devices.

Radar Inc offers typical terminals such as ring, fork, and spade terminals as well as pin terminals, wire ferrules, compression lugs, butt splices, wire joints, and parallel splices. Radar can supply these terminals in bulk packaging or tape and reel, as solder-less or crimp terminals and as solder terminals, and in non-insulated, nylon insulated, vinyl insulated, and Kynar insulated configurations. Radar Inc is an authorized distributor for the following manufacturers.
